It doesn't take long to become tired of the short play list that most radio stations play these days. The repetition of a song quickly adds it to my don't play list. But... There is a song that will never end... it is being sung now and it will be sung for eternity...and we will never grow tired of singing it.
We can sing it here on earth...but that is just practice for us joining the mass choir.
One day we will get to sing it face-to-face to whom it describes.
"...day and night they never stop, saying: Holy, holy, holy, Lord God, the Almighty, who was, who is and who is coming."
"They said with a loud voice: Worthy is the Lamb to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!"
"Blessing and honor and glory and dominion to the One seated on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever."
"Salvation belongs to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!"
It's the song that never ends and when we join with the echoing before the throne of God, here is the great promise: We whose sin has been washed in the sacrifice of God and made white by the blood of the Lamb will no longer thirst; no longer hunger...all of our desires will be quenched by His very presence.
Now there is no promise of "all is right with the world" but there is a promise of one day "face-to-face" join the song...but until then join believers across this planet...join the beings in heaven...let's join the song
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
Blessing and glory and honor and power to the Lamb, the blessed Son of God.
Had you ever thought that when you worship, whether today or in a weekend corporate gathering, that you are joining with a worship celebration that never ends?
Does that realization make a difference on how you worship today or how you will prepare for worship your faith family this weekend?
