not looking at me but

not them looking at me or

me looking at them but

us looking at Him.

That was the phrase one of our worship team members used to describe how she felt when she was on the stage of our worship center.

For weeks now my assistant and I have been discussing the term 'worship leader' in the context "is that really what we are?" Worship leader: by our example yes; as a cheerleader no.

Oh, that we would all understand

not them looking at me or

me looking at them but

us looking at Him.

What would our corporate worship become if we didn't care what others thought, but only what He thought?

What would our corporate worship become if our eyes and thoughts were only of Him?
