We went into this search and knew there was no perfect church.
Its Christmas and we are to be celebrating the birth of Christ, but the story is much bigger.
Ministry leaders think their life, their leadership would be easier if every ministry position was filled. I don’t.
I really believe that God has given us an amazing vessel in which to live and it is our responsibility to take care of it.
An important part of this story is the company, Brindlee Moutain Fire Apparatus. It was built on biblical principles and encourages and is not ashamed of public display of Christ-centered lives.
When we follow these words of wisdom, no matter the destination, we fulfill the greatest, the only true purpose for our lives…to Glorify God. When we allow God to establish our direction we can stand on this promise from the book of Joshua: "Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Often I have been guilty of just letting this day pass without taking the time to remember the suffering my Lord endured. I am striving to make today the exception and take the time to remember and imagine what really took place on that cruel piece of wood.
He had done all the prep, 33 years on earth led him to that day.
