One More Week of Darkness

I am juggling conflicting thoughts.

I love Daylight Savings Time and the longer afternoon hours of sunlight.
I am not a fan of complete darkness for the entire early morning run.
I don't enjoy driving home in the dark every afternoon.
It will be nice to see my running watch screen without engaging the light button.

This is the last week of Daylight Savings Time and therefore our the last Thursday Breakfast Club run completely in the dark.  (Sunday we fall back to Standard Time.)

For this last week of Daylight Savings Time, I am keeping us off poorly illuminated sidewalks as much as possible and on less traveled neighborhood streets. Even though we will be on streets that have lights, it is still a good idea to wear reflective clothing and bring some type of light.

Remember the run starts from Fleet Feet Huntsville and we leave promptly at 5:30 am.
