What's the hook?
Listening to songs on the radio, its the ones with a good 'hook' that you remember.
Wikipedia describes a 'hook' this way:
A hook is a musical idea, that is used in popular music to make a song appealing and to "catch the ear of the listener".
It's what you first remember about the song and what you can first repeat.
The hooks, what I remember and keeps me coming back to the breakfast club run are friends who will be there and the implied accountability that someone is expecting me to be there.
I don't know why you go out and run but those two are two of my top three motivators. The third being the importance of being physically active.
Thursdays come once a week and so does the Breakfast Club Run. We meet at the Huntsville Fleet Store and the run starts promptly at 5:30 AM. Everyone is welcome and we promise if you come run with us you will not have to run alone.
