I had heard some of his story, I have even had lunch with him but I really never knew the details until reading Shay Eskew’s What the Fire Ignited.
Everyone in the group had good intentions. The problem was it was just good 'intentions.'
I really believe that God has given us an amazing vessel in which to live and it is our responsibility to take care of it.
When we follow these words of wisdom, no matter the destination, we fulfill the greatest, the only true purpose for our lives…to Glorify God. When we allow God to establish our direction we can stand on this promise from the book of Joshua: "Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
"You don't get inspired then write, you start writing out a knowledge of your craft and inspiration begins to show up, sometimes.
That quick conversation early one Thursday morning reminded me that I need to ask that question every day.
