Fresh Pavement
When you drive along a freshly paved street, road noise seems to disappear and you think, "I wish all roads were like this."
I know it might seem strange but running on a freshly paved asphalt is almost the same. Your steps seem to make less noise, your cadence smooths out and you think, "I wish all roads were like this."
For tomorrow's breakfast club run we will travel a familiar route, but this time one of the streets will be freshly paved.
Do you think it is easier to run on freshly paved roads?
One way to find out is to come to the Breakfast Club Run tomorrow morning. We start in front of the Fleet Feet store and take our first steps at 5:30am sharp. The route is five miles but can easily be shortened to three or four.
Everyone is welcomed.
